Fill in the form that is shown there, follow the directions as best you can and complete all the necessary Questions, you will need a photo (use the camera on your phone) of your current Motorcycle Licence or Learners Licence (as Proof of Age).
A member of the Ulysses club will contact you, either by email or Phone (make sure the details are correct in your application), to confirm details and arrange for your subscription to join the Club.
Alternatively you can download and make a paper copy to give to a committee member to take care of your application for you. Here is the link.
What does the club do?
There is information on the club’s website www.ulysses.org.au but briey, the Club publishes a quarterly journal, Riding On and associated website www.ridingonline.com.au, which contains information about forthcoming events, provides a forum for members’ news and views and carries articles on topics of interest to older bikers.
Branches all over Australia have regular social get togethers, organise rides, rallies, and various outings.
At many Rallies and Odysseys the club banner is raised as a focal point where members and their friends can join in good company.
The Annual General Meeting of Ulysses Club Inc. is held prior to the end of June includes a week of events for members. The venue is a suitable and interesting location anywhere in Australia and the event brings members from afar together to rekindle friendships and make new ones.
Who can join?
Any person who is 40 years of age or above who holds a current motorcycle licence, or who is a spouse or regular partner of a current Ulysses Club member and meets the age requirement. Until you reach the grand old age of 50, you will be a “junior” member, but with full membership rights and privileges. It’s just that you might have to help some of the “seniors” o their machines sometimes.
